Chrysler Creek
as natural as possible
Home      About Us

Hello and thanks for the interest in our products.  We have been in the soy candle and natural soap and bath products business in Angola, Indiana for the past three years.  I researched and studied all of the facets of this business for more than 2 years before finally taking the plunge to open my business.  I wanted to make sure that I could provide the best as natural as possible products to my customers while saving them some money.  I had already been studying all of this when the events below started happening, I feel like I was being prepared for what was to come and it also helped me to realize what needed to be done.

Here is a little bit of our background and how and why we began this business.  I started researching soap and candles as a result of various allergies in our family.  I have a severe allergy to SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate - a degreasing chemical that is added to almost every health/beauty product and cleaner that we buy commercially) and I would end up with these huge reddish-purple blisters that itched like crazy.  I went to the doctor and received three different medications (viral, bacterial, and fungal).  None of those even began to help, so I started to pay attention to what I was using and when it would itch worse.  After much prayer and time, I realized that it got worse after baths.  Needless to say, this is how it began one product at a time and now my skin is fine.  Once I got the bath products started, I began to make candles more natural due to my daughter's allergies.  I am no where near to having as many products as I would like to offer, but with some time and effort I may one day.

I am proud to say that our soap line is increasing!  These new soaps that are now available are vegetable-based, cold processed soaps that I make right here at home.  I start out with the finest vegetable-based oils and go from there.  This is a lengthy process, as some of you may know, and it takes about four weeks to cure properly.  I am in the process of adding more scents and additives, but you may rest assured that they will be natural ingredients that will do your body good.  So keep an eye out for these new scents and let me know what you think, if you have an idea or suggestion about the scents.
